Peer Review Statement

Papers submitted to Aristotelica are first evaluated by the Editorial Board to determine whether the topic is within the journal’s remit and whether appropriate academic standards have been followed. Submissions which do not meet these criteria are normally rejected within two to three weeks.

Submissions judged to be suitable then proceed to a double-blind peer review process. On the basis of the reviewers’ reports, papers are either accepted for publication, usually with minor revisions, returned to the author(s) for major revision or rejected.
