Aristotle among the Neoplatonists
ISNS Conference, Leuven 2026
The panel Aristotle among the Neoplatonists invites papers on the reception of Aristotle within the Neoplatonic tradition, including exegetical practices, textual transmission, translations, and forms of philosophical debate and polemic. Particular attention is given to textual issues and the history of the Aristotelian corpus.
Participation involves a double invitation: the panel session at the ISNS Conference in Leuven (3–6 June 2026) and a preparatory seminar in Vercelli (26 May 2026), held in hybrid format, offering extended discussion of work in progress.
Abstracts (short or long, maximum one page) should be submitted by 19 January 2026, in accordance with ISNS guidelines.
Aristotelica supports selected international scholarly initiatives in Ancient Philosophy and its reception, identifying and engaging contexts in which advanced Aristotelian research can be meaningfully developed.
